The Advanced Shinken are hand forged & Folded K120C powder steel blade. Differentially tempered with the traiditonal claying method. The temper line (hamon) is evident and prominent and the grain (hada) shows distinct layers. The Same used on the Tsuka is of the highest quality and the Tsuka Ito and Sageo are woven from the best quality Japanese cotton.
